David Attenborough double bill: David Attenborough's Great Barrier Reef | David Attenborough's Light on Earth
Dive beneath the surface with David Attenborough, as he returns to his ‘most magical place on earth’, the Great Barrier Reef. Nearly sixty years after his first visit to this beautiful natural wonder, David embarks on a journey which allows him to understand the Reef as never before using a variety of innovative technology. However, the Reef is now seriously under threat having lost almost half its coral since his first visit and David is determined to discover how it can be saved.
Next, David goes on a quest to reveal the secrets of bioluminescence in the magical “David Attenborough’s Light on Earth”. Luminous beings, creatures with their own internal light, will enchant and astonish you. The sea at night sparkles, as millions of luminous plankton reveal the shapes of dolphins, fish and whales in a truly spectacular and magical light show. In the unknown universe of the dark deep sea where the only illumination is living light, weird and wonderful creatures hunt, mate and even hide using light.
